CBD on Anxiety

CBD has shown positive affects towards stress in studies with animals. Since stress is the most challenging and known symptom of anxiety, CBD might also help reducing it. It has a relaxing effect when consumed because CBD directly binds to the receptors that involve pain, uneasiness, stress, worry etc.


CBD may also help reducing other types of anxiety such as social anxiety disorder (SAD) or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In a study in 2011 with people suffer from SAD, some of the participants were given an oral dose of CBD and the other participants were given a placebo. The participants who consumed CBD showed decreased levels of anxiety.
